CHUMASH CONCERT NOW A BENEFIT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS SERVING THOMAS FLOOD VICTIMS, PLEASE JOIN US ON JANUARY 26TH
Alan Parsons’ Live Project are set to perform at Chumash Casino Friday, Jan. 26. Parsons, who has resided in Santa Barbara since 2000, has announced that he is making this a benefit show exclusively for First Responders and local organizations serving Thomas Flood victims.
“It is difficult to contemplate how a happy occasion such as a rock concert can take place locally without due consideration to the terrible tragedies that have recently taken place in our area,” says Parsons. “We are proudly donating all proceeds to The 805 ONE First Responders Fundraiser and to what is affectionately known as ‘The Kick Ash Bash.’ I am hopeful that we can also raise additional funds for this excellent cause with individual donations at the concert.”
Funds will be used to purchase equipment that First Responders desperately need, but is outside their budget, as well as donations to local organizations serving Thomas Flood victims.
Parsons added, “The Chumash Casino has very kindly agreed to match our donation, so it will be a double whammy for the cause.”
