GEOFF EMERICK – MY FRIEND AND MY MENTOR

I was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Geoff Emerick. Geoff was best known for his work as engineer with The Beatles, and I had the privilege of working with him on their Abbey Road album, among many other artists. He was a brilliant engineer and producer, always ready to try something new and different, and I consider him to be my mentor and a significant influence on my own career. I will miss him greatly.
