MARCH AND APRIL US TOUR SCHEDULE POSTPONED
A sincere thank you to all of our fans for your support of the APLP live shows over the last 35 years.
We have never been forced to cancel more than a handful of shows since we started playing live, and that has mostly been for weather issues. However the Coronavirus, as you all know, has had a profound effect on gatherings of people in music venues and other public places both in the USA and abroad. We are genuinely sorry that we will not be venturing out for the shows originally scheduled between March 17 until the end of April. That includes the On The Blue Cruise due to happen between April 1st and 8th. Believe me – we are just as sorry as you are. The decision to not appear in large gatherings – and especially cruise ships – has been a result of both government directives and concert promoters. We agree with those directives.
Please know that all the shows originally on our tour for March are POSTPONEMENTS not cancellations. As soon as we are able, we will announce rescheduled dates, and your existing tickets should be honored, although of course we have no direct control over ticket sales.
Please understand these postponements are in the interests and safety of you the fans, as well as myself, my family, my band, and my crew. Please remain safe through these uncertain times – and heed the warnings for avoiding the virus.
I sincerely hope that the whole Coronavirus debacle will be over in the next few weeks.
My best to you all,
