I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear that my good friend Neil Lockwood passed away last Saturday, March 15th, 2025 following a brief unexpected illness.

Neil was our featured lead singer with The Alan Parsons Live Project from 1996 right up to my leaving the UK to live in the states in 2000. As well as singing with my UK-based band, he also appeared on two of the Alan Parsons albums, On Air and The Time Machine. He had a unique talent as a vocalist and was amazingly versatile.

He was always good-humoured and ready to share a joke or a funny story. He was the life and soul of a hard-working travelling band.

We will miss him greatly.
